CARE Do not machine wash or immerse in water. Wash by hand with a damp cloth. Just as you wouldn't wash a leather product, waxed cotton is a specialty fabric that can be used for many years without washing. It will lose its waterproof properties if machine washed. It is possible to revitalize the bag by applying a specialist wax compound to restore its finish, vigor and waterproofness.
